I thought you might like to see some 18th century pictures of the places Elizabeth and Darcy talked of with such intensity.
I know you are all capeable of looking at the modern websites showing pictures of the Derbyshire Dales,but these pictures- showing the area how it was when Elizabeth viited Derbyshrie-,are a little harder to come by.
The first is by William Gilpin,and was inlcuded in his book, Observations on Cumberland and Westmoreland etc
