I don't think Darcy's address of Elizabeth has anything to do... Written by Lila (6/4/2007 11:57 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Darcy loves Lizzy just the same, penned by Rebecca K

with whether he loves her or not. I think by nature he is a gentleman, and that is how gentlemen behave.

Does anyone know whether those types of phrases were commonly used to end letters in the Regency era?
