Interesting argument   Written by Tracy W (6/4/2007 8:06 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Darcy appears to be a deliberate character..., penned by Lila
Are you new?

Hmmm, interesting argument.

I will say that Darcy doesn't fall that quickly. According to Ellen Moody's chronology, he meets Elizabeth on 21 October at the Meryton ball, and proposes 9th of April, so it takes about five months for him to thoroughly fall.

What evidence would make you think that Darcy felt something like love, rather than a desire to possess "this strong-minded beauty"?
