Your meaning was perfectly clear - no need to apologize! :-)   Written by Line (6/2/2007 6:25 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, By the way I apologize for the grammatical errors in my, penned by Lila
Are you new?

If you're interested, a while ago I compiled all the P&P quotations I could find about Elizabeth's feelings regarding the men in her life: Darcy, Wickham and Col. Fitzwilliam. Be warned, I did the whole novel, so there are definitely spoilers for the rest of the book in my "essay", which I've linked below. You can also get to it through the "Links" link on the left side of the RoP home page. All I can say is that I'm convinced that Elizabeth would *not* consider a bad-tempered man up to her standards for a husband, no matter how intriguing she might find Mr. Darcy in some ways. I'm also sure that at this point in the book she is certainly not *starting* to fall in love, unconsciously in love, secretly in love, or any other kind of love! ;-)

Elizabeth's feelings about Darcy, etc.
