Wishing for impossible things   Written by jeremy (6/1/2007 2:04 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Darcy's courtesy - his letter, proposal, and Wickham..., penned by Emmy
Are you new?

I know what you mean when you say your are more sympathetic to Darcy and more aware of Elizabeth’s faults. I feel exactly the same way. I think it is because we have read the book before.

I wish I could read it again for the first time! There are many surprises and twists and turns that now I see coming. I still enjoy the book enormously and it my favorite novel – but every time I read it I wish it was the first time!

Oh well just like my dear friend Emma Woodhouse I sit and wish for impossible things.
