A tendency to misjuged others at first?   Written by Kathi (5/30/2007 1:02 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Fundamentally, I think Elizabeth is simply, penned by William D
Are you new?

Did Lizzy really have a tendency to misjudge other people at first? Here is a list of people we have seen her meet so far in P&P, with, in my judgement, whether her first judgements about them are right, at least based on what we know so far.

Darcy -- right (i.e., she judges him at the beginning as being haughty, and she is correct)
Wickham -- spectacularly wrong (but so were a lot of other people)
Caroline -- right
Louisa -- right
Bingley -- right
Mr. Collins -- right
Lady Catherine -- right
Anne -- ?
Colonel Fitzwilliam -- right

In fact, based on that list, I'd say Lizzy has quite a good record judging people at first.
