I'll try one final time to be clearer   Written by Adrian (5/27/2007 1:14 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, We're just at the end of the proposal, though., penned by Helen Halstead
Are you new?

I do not claim that as of the end of Ch. 34 Lizzy regarded Darcy differently, but I do believe she has started to take a more careful look at herself and how she has acted. To me, the "never knew myself" moment began (or the groundwork was laid) in Lizzy's reflection after the proposal and reached fruition after her contemplation of the letter the following day (to be sure, a long moment in the making ;-)

At least now we can bring evidence to bear from subsequent chapters if needed.
