I have always felt a little disconcerted   Written by Marie C (5/27/2007 8:38 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Love this post!, penned by Robbin
Are you new?

... by this conversation between Elizabeth and Darcy,as they find themselves alone at the Parsonage. Your quote, Robbin, reminds me of it. Is it really in character with Elizabeth to be discussing so openly about private matters concerning her particular friend, to a man she neither trusts nor like?

Is it a sign that her dislike of Darcy is gradually softening, through seeing him in a better light in Kent than in Hertfordshire? (before Colonel Fitzwilliam's putting his foot in it, of course).
Or does it eschew an instance of Elizabeth's unguardedness?
