As we have reached appr. the half of the book, I have done some counting (excuse me if this is really boring and has been done a hundred times before - beeing german this book has never been a homework asignment for me as a student): Darcy as an acting subject (not an object to be talked about) has been in 16 of the 34 chapters - less then half; let`s see if his part will increase :-)
