Question about the Collinses at Hunsford   Written by Michaela (5/21/2007 3:47 a.m.)
Are you new?

It says in Chapter 30: "Their other engagements were few, as the style of living of the neighbourhood in general was beyond the Collinses`reach."

I always imagined the estate of Rosings and a small village making up the parish of Hunsford ...that would result in farmers, villagers and the noble patroness as neighbours - the Collinses feeling themselves situated above the former?? Obviously I am wrong from the start...
