I agree   Written by Robbin (5/19/2007 3:06 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Actually the selection of the boss..., penned by Reeba
Are you new?

The employment option automatically confers a loss of status and dignity on Charlotte just by having to work for a living. Charlotte would have to accept strangers control where and how she lives and under what circumstances as well as knowing they could let her go if dissatisfied with her work. If she wished to leave her employer she would have to find another with no more assurance it would work out than she had with the first. Charlotte could be extremely miserable working for a pittance in jobs she considers dishonorable for her while the hope of ever reaching her goal of having her own home fades even further. ;D
