ch.24: Jane and her parents   Written by Line (5/17/2007 7:44 p.m.)
Are you new?

In ch.24 it becomes clear that neither Mrs. nor Mr. Bennet understand how unhappy Jane is over Bingley. Mrs. Bennet grates on her daughter's nerves by constantly complaining about Bingley's behaviour, while Mr. Bennet makes jokes about her being crossed in love. Both of them leave a lot to be desired as parents, IMO.
