Is Lizzy's blindness surprising? Written by Adrian (5/17/2007 12:50 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Quote Chapter 21, penned by Carolyn

It seems Lizzy is more likely to suspect those she dislikes (Charlotte, Darcy) than those she likes (Charlotte, Bingley, Wickham). She tends, it appears, to suppose that people she likes think the way she does. That does not surprise me as much as it does Lizzy.
