I think all the responses to this subject are interesting. To me this is sort of a balancing JA does in the text. Darcy ignores her for half an hour her last day at Netherfield so Lizzy suggests it looks odd to be entirely silent for half an hour together during the dance. Linda is right half an hour was the usual length of the dance so it seems to me the selection of half an hour ignoring Lizzy in Chapter 12 is the setup. These details are neat. Thanks for seeing this one. ;D
