How was it preserved? Written by Graciela (5/14/2007 9:27 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, as soon as Nicholls has made white soup enough, penned by Carolyn

Bingley said that he would send the invitations as soon as Nicholls has made the white soup. He invited the Bennets personally on Thursday (and I suppose that he sent the rest of the invitations the same day) and the ball was the next Tuesday. How was the white soup preserved all this time?
