...Mr. Collins to Rosings unless she wants to, I do not see how sending him to find a wife reduces his presence noticeably. In fact, it appears even now that LC's invitations for Mr. C to join her for cards, etc. are for her benefit, not out of any obligation to Mr. C. Perhaps future chapters will add to our knowledge, but I think we can see a pattern even in what has already been scheduled readings.
