You might be wrong about not being pretty enough to tempt Darcy (if you were Lizzy), but you would still be right about not being good enough to tempt him, at least not to tempt him enough to overcome his aversion to "your" (i.e., Lizzy's) inferior connections. So perhaps if would be better if you didn't come to like him. ;-)
