Obviously, Eliizabeth already had a negative opinion of Darcy, but you can dislike someone without thinking that they are an immoral person. I used the phrase "changes her mind" because it seems to me that at this point, Elizabeth's opinion of Darcy takes enough of a nosedive that it qualifies as a *different* opinion of him. She goes from thinking that he is a hard-to-like person to thinking that he is a man of bad character (which I suspect may have been more important to JA than to some of her readers since then).
