Lizzy's infatuation with W and his story   Written by Jen S (5/8/2007 7:51 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Jane's "evidence", penned by Kathi
Are you new?

I agree, Kathi, while W was good-looking, gentleman-like in appearance, and honest in all his looks, his behavior was far from gentleman-like. To spill such a story to a virtual stranger practically the moment they met is odd to say the least. However, Lizzy is blind to this due in part to the fact that what W says just backs up her own perception (prejudice against) of D, but also because he's hooked her already. She's enthralled and can think of nothing but W.

It's so hard to keep my mind from leaping ahead in the story. At times I wish I were reading the story for the first time and didn't have the movie versions flitting past my eyes as I read. But then again, I wouldn't see things happen in the story and just shake my head and think, 'Just you wait!'
