I find Mr. Bennet Written by William D (5/8/2007 11:41 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Sketching Mr. Bennet's character, penned by Line

...to be one of the main reasons I enjoy the novel so much. His wit and teasing reminds me of a favorite uncle (late), but his hiding from family responsibility does not. When it was time to get serious and take charge, Uncle did. Mr. Bennet abdicates.

Every character in the book reminds me of a real person I've met or known over the years...
