How can Elizabeth not recognize   Written by Outi (5/8/2007 8:39 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, How can Darcy not recognize..., penned by Karen 2L
Are you new?

that Darcy has changes his mind about her? It is quite obvious in ch. 10 and 11. Elizabeth is very stubborn in her opinion about Darcy and doesn't seem to able to make new observations about him, because she has made up her mind so quickly and isn't able to admit she is wrong. The evidence is already there...

Other thing I wonder is why Bingley is in film adaptations made to be a little silly or stupid (both P&P2 and P&P3)? He isn't that in the book. To me he seems easygoing and nice, not stupid.
