...was actually two dances, with a short break in between. I think he came to talk to Darcy during the break. On the other hand, if the line of dancers was long, a couple may have stood around for a while with nothing particular to do, so I wonder if he would have had time to do it then? I'm sure Bingley would not have done anything that would have embarrassed his partner!
