we can, if we are not attuned to "how it was then', make a mistake here and think Bingley a little odd in dancing every dance : but , once you reailse that men were scarce, and that women were poweless to ask men to dance with them, you do realise that he danced as much as he did becasue he was beign civil. Darcy clearly was not ;-)
