Are you new?

...that Kitty (and even Mary or Lydia, for that matter) would have been like if Elizabeth and Jane had taken a greater interest in her? If they had tried to instill some of their sense and propriety in their younger sibling, and spent more time with her, perhaps Kitty wouldn't have fallen to Lydia's lot for amusement and companionship? I think the same could hold true for the other sisters as well, especially poor neglected Mary.
