...from what "actions" she took ("reaction" is the latter). Lizzy is right to feel insulted, she is justified in painting Darcy's behavior as ridiculous to her friends, because it was--both hurtful and ridiculous, no excuses.

But Lizzy then let the hurt cloud her judgment, and I maintain that was atypical; she typically maintains her poise, maintains her judgment even under duress. That is Lizzy at her best.
