and express opinions which might not be my own...Do you think that Jane "lets" Mr. Bennet speak of Lizzy as silly because everyone else sings her praises, but her treatment of Darcy is a bit silly. She takes an instant dislike to him because of his very careless remark, and believes all that is said against him.
