]As uncalled for as it was, Darcy had attacked not her pride but her vanity.

No-one enjoys a public insult but I doubt Lizzy would have been overly upset by the opinion of a stranger who didn't know her and whose behaviour made a poor impression on her.
Do you think Lizzy is so superficial to be upset by a man who judged her so blithely ?

To nurture a grudge does not seem in Lizzy's charecter.

If Lizzy's vanity or feelings are hurt, I'd wonder why she told the story later 'with great spirit among her friends'. ch.3.
