Fashionable Mr Hurst...   Written by Mandy N (5/2/2007 2:20 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Ragoos R Us...or, are they?, penned by JulieW
Are you new?

LOL ! Thanks Julie. I've always suspected Mr Hurst's partiality for a Ragout showed a taste for French dishes.

Mr Hurst may've preferred a wife who could cook French dishes rather than be so accomplished. ;-)

I realize there was a prejudice among English cooks against the French; Yet may I ask, as French cookbooks were translated into English, may Mr Bingley's Cook do some French recipes for
Mr Hurst ?
