Thoughts on Mary.   Written by Mandy N (5/2/2007 4:51 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Mary's Commonplace Book, penned by JulieW
Are you new?

I recall how poor Mary, lacking Lizzy's lively mind, could not adjust her ideas in time to suit her father.

A couple of these moral sentiments remind me of Mary's remarks.
In the light of this post, she appears a more rounded charecter.

My first impression was the Commonplace book was for writing practise, it is a lovely hand.
Thanks for this scan Julie !
