A Bingley/Jane contrast Written by Adrian (4/30/2007 1:49 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Bingley sees Darcy’s Darkside, penned by Robbin

What this suggests is that Bingley and Jane are not mirror images of one another--at least not initially. Jane thinks highly of everyone because she does not see their faults (or refuses to see them) whereas Bingley's friendliness towards people exists in spite of seeing their faults.
