Perhaps we see here an early instance of Darcy's ... Written by Adrian (4/30/2007 12:30 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Darcy and Caroline Bingley, penned by Kat

...penchant for honesty over tact. He answers Caroline's question about "fine eyes" honestly, not because it will distance him from her (although I do not think he minds doing so) but because it is the honest answer, and he believes in being honest.
