Are you new?

This is really interesting as I've wondered about the 'circulating libraries'.
Thanks for these posts.

Meryton has at least 2 circulating libraries.
Unless circulating libries were really socializing places, perhaps Meryton people did read a variety of different books ?
I am now wondering if Darcy may've been surprised to have found books in common with people at the Assembly.

Darn ! It's dissed my theory on Mrs Phillips and the officers. ;-)
