Focusing on objects and movement in chapters 4 – 6   Written by Margaret S (4/30/2007 10:31 a.m.)
Are you new?

There are no objects that I’ve noticed in chapters 4 through 6. The young Lucas mentions foxhounds and vine bottles, an interesting choice of male consumerism, but they do not appear in reality.

As for movement, chapter 6 itself is about configurations of people weaving in and out of conversations with Elizabeth noticing Darcy noticing her. The word “severe” is used between Elizabeth and Darcy. Ping…
