Does Mr. Bennet have his own farm? Written by Karen 2L (4/30/2007 9:22 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Mr Bennet's farm & horses., penned by Mandy N

..or are his tenants using Mr. Bennet's horses? I raise this question because some people were horrified by P&P3's farm in such close proximity to the house -- stating that Mr. Bennet, as a gentleman, didn't have his own farm but only collected rents from his tenants.

Can anyone clarify?
