Caroline and Darcy   Written by Kathi (4/30/2007 5:07 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Miss Bingley, penned by Jen S
Are you new?

I think it is too early to judge what Darcy thinks of Caroline. (Remember that we are only going by what is in the first nine chapters.)

Caroline (along with Louisa) is described as being "not deficient in good-humour when they were pleased, nor in the power of being agreeable where they chose it." I'm sure Caroline made a point of being agreeable around Darcy.

They are also described as being (with a certain amount of irony, IMHO) "in every respect entitled to think well of themselves, and meanly of others." That sounds rather familiar -- it seems that Caroline has something in common with Darcy.
