chapter 7- "Mamma,"cried Lydia, "my aunt says that Colonel Forster and Captain Carter do not go so often to Miss Watson's as they did when they first came; She sees them now very often at Clarke's library."

Right after this statement Jane recieves the letter from Netherfield, so there is no response. Who or what is Miss Watson's? I have read P&P many times but with all of the excitement regarding the letter, never paid much attetnion to that statement either.
