I agree, very much so! Darcy disparages Lizzy's consequence by making that remark for which he has no basis IMHO. He says this about Lizzy without a thought to how it would affect her, how others might look at her because of it or apparently even how others would perceive him if it was overheard. I think his behavior is ungentlemanly and inexcusable. :D
