JA's personality   Written by Nasima (1/19/2004 1:30 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Revenge of the silenced, penned by Jacqueline
Are you new?

]I think she identifies with Elizabeth here: she agrees with his comments and finds them funny but, as an unmarried woman, is not allowed to express her own opinions and must obey the rules of etiquette. JA probably sat through many an evening such as this, biting her tongue.

I didn't think before that unmarried women are not allowed to express their opinions, are they really in that era?
Also I always think JA has a strong and an independent personality and can express her opinion even for the princes of UK.
