Darcy's prejudice   Written by Mandy N (1/19/2004 11:22 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Elizabeth's pride, penned by Julianne E.
Are you new?

As Lizzy shows pride against Darcy, Darcy reveals prejudice against the Meryton people with his unsociable manner. And he is prejudiced against Lizzy Ch.10 'He really believed were it not for the inferiority of her connections, he should be in some danger'. Darcy feels an attraction to her but although she's a gentleman's daughter-the small estate, no noble relations with a personal dislike of her mother; Darcy does not judge Lizzy alone in her own right. Not intially. I suppose this was typical of the C19th class system.
