in consequence of the missive, I've always liked Mr. Bennet, penned by Tara O'Donnell
I've always liked Mr Bennet too (although I feel he should've done more for his family's security.) He certainly pokes fun at his wife and my impression is right from their first meeting he finds Mr Collins a new fun novelty to derive amusement from. I quite agree he never wanted such a ridiculous son-in-law.Ch.14 'Mr Bennet's expectations were fully answered. His cousin was as absurd as he had hoped'. Yet I don't understand as he regarded 3 of his daughters so very silly, would it matter if he aquired a fool of a son-in-law to whom he was related anyway--and who could take a silly Bennet girl out of his house!
