Red and white - clever Miss Austen!   Written by Denise S (1/18/2004 4:50 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Who's face was white and who's was red?, penned by Johanna Elisabet
Are you new?

Whose face was white and whose was red?

How clever Jane Austen was to leave this open. Now I know what I must have seen as a new reader.

Each time you go back to a novel you have the familiarity and knowledge from all the previous times and the adaptations; I've found the group read is really making me think about READING and making meaning chapter by chapter. So exciting!
