]I agree Mr Bennet seems focused on the emotional aspects of a possible match; I think that is why he supported Lizzy for refusing Mr Collins as he realized he was 'not a sensible man' and ill suited for Lizzy.
I agree with that too.
]The only point I can't agree with you is Mrs Bennet being concerned her daughters to make marriages for their security. Personally, I think she's worried for her own material security with the entailment.
Of course she is worried about herself. But IMHO she is also concerned about her daughters.
