Strictly speaking   Written by Lucy Jean (1/11/2004 12:07 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, The Bennet Sisters -- basic descriptions, penned by kathleen (elder)
Are you new?

] Mr Bennet calls them all silly with the possible exception of Lizzy, whom he describes as having "quickness"

Actually it's something more of quickness than the others, which is faint praise if you ask me, given that he just called them all silly and ignorant, something he attibutes to all females. On account of the quickness, he might have preferred Lizzy's company to the others', if he had to be in a room with any of them, but I wonder how seriously he ever took her.
