I agree 2. I think a large part of Caroline's problem is she never speaks well of anybody except Mr Darcy. She runs down her own brother, sneers at the local gentry like Sir William and Mrs Bennet. Lizzie knows Miss Bingley speaks ill of everyone, little wonder she will not consider her a reliable source concerning Wickham.
