Good question...   Written by Kira (1/18/2004 11:48 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Who's face was white and who's was red?, penned by Johanna Elisabet
Are you new?

I think that it was Darcy's face which turned red, like Tara I would say from anger, just as it seems logical to me that Wickham face turns white from fear. No matter whose story we belive in the moment (we only knows very littel from Darcy's side), Darcy is angry and he with his wealth and conections he could be a treath to Wickham if he wanted to. Therefor in first seeing Darcy I think it very probable that Wickham would be scared.
