Are you new?

...now I have another question. Why was it OK to sell mackerel before and after church on Sunday, but not other kinds of fish? Does mackerel spoil more easily than other fish, or was there a religious connotation? (If you want me to stop bugging you for information, you must stop throwing out fascinating little snippets like this!)
