syllabub   Written by DeborahAnn (1/15/2004 3:11 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, What is a syllabub?, penned by Dagmar
Are you new?

It is kind of like a Jello/Gelatin type dessert mixed with cream that is then placed either in a mold or individual dishes and then chilled for several hours before serving. I have a syllabub recipe that calls for dry white wine finely grated lemon rind/juice and sugar and double cream (in the US it would heavy whipping cream).
