I assure you   Written by Diane Margaret (1/15/2004 11:10 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, My typos ........, penned by JulieW
Are you new?

that I am quite used to them, I read your posts all the time. In fact I am so used to them it did not even enter into my thinking when I wrote what I did, how it would be perceived by you. I'm terribly sorry if you thought I was commenting on your typos. I was only thinking of how my mind automatically changed the word bass to base and if it was intentional. And along those lines how quite often JA's turn of phrase gives us an impression that is not unequivocally supported when reread carefully. I won't give any examples as I am not following the group read except to read the board and wouldn't want to jump ahead. I was struck by the thought that she would intentionally use a homophone to play a joke. I wonder if there are any other examples or if this is a singular event.
