Not so sweet Caroline   Written by Tara O'Donnell (1/15/2004 9:38 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Question, penned by Mary Frances 2
Are you new?

I think that Mrs. Hurst knows but believes it is a joke between Caroline & Darcy(she was part of the walking group that was startled by Lizzie's sudden appearance,IIRC) and Bingley is more concerned about Jane to notice, not to mention being use to his sister's jibes toward others.

Caroline is so amusing because she thinks she's a "lady" but actions are as obvious in many ways as Lydia's towards any of the officers,IMO:)
