I don't see Darcy confiding in BIngley about his attraction for Lizzy. At this point, Darcy thinks he is in complete control of his emotions. The only reason why he divulges his Lizzy-admiration to Caroline Bingley, is to take her down a peg or two, and show her indirectly that she has no chance with him!


And I don't think Caroline would tease Darcy in public about Lizzy, for one-she wouldn't dare, and secondly, it would make it a settled thing...LOL
